A pair of teams that received at large bids to the NCAA Tournament will wrap up the First Four Round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament when the Colorado Buffaloes face the Boise State Broncos in Dayton, Ohio, at the University of Dayton Arena, with the game tipping off a 9:10 PM ET on Wednesday night. On Friday, they will air on Tru TV, with the winner advancing to face the Florida Gators in the Round of 64.

Colorado entered the Pac-12 Conference Tournament Championship game on an eight-game winning streak and had defeated their opponent 79-75 on the road less than two weeks before the championship game. However, the Buffaloes couldn't duplicate the success as they fell to the Oregon Ducks in the Conference Championship game by a score of 68-75.

Things won't get more accessible for a struggling offense as the Colorado Buffaloes will face a team that ranked 57^th in defensive efficiency this season, the Boise State Broncos, in the Round of the First Four in the NCAA Tournament.

Boise State was one of the top teams in the Mountain West this season, finishing 2^nd place in the regular season with a conference record of 13-5. However, they were eliminated early in the Mountain West Conference Tournament against the New Mexico Lobos in the Quarterfinals of the tournament by a score of 66-76, which was their first loss against the Lobos this season after defeating New Mexico by a score of 78-86 at home and 79-89 on the road in the previous two meetings. 

Boise State struggled to shoot the ball in the game, shooting 43.8% from the field in the matchup against New Mexico. This was surprising, as they were one of the top-scoring teams in college basketball this season, averaging 75.81 points per game. The Broncos have also lost two of their last three games entering the NCAA Tournament and have averaged 70.33 points per game over their previous three matchups. 

The Broncos will look to right the ship offensively on Wednesday night when they face the Colorado Buffaloes in the Round of the First Four in the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
