The fourth-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide (2-0) will look to extend their dominance against the Wisconsin Badgers (2-0) at Camp Randall Stadium on Saturday, September 14, at noon ET in Madison, Wisconsin. The Crimson Tide are expected to perform well on the road, as their point spread is -15.0 (-110).
The Crimson Tide have easily rolled past their first two teams. This will be their first solid test where they were not huge spread favorites. Their most recent win was a 42-16 blowout over the South Florida Bulls.
Interestingly, the Crimson Tide were only up 14-6 after the first half and down 14-13 after the third quarter. They would have likely been upset if it was not for a 28-point fourth quarter.
Jalen Milroe completed 16 of 26 passes totaling 194 yards while landing two touchdowns on the Bulls. Their biggest issue on defense was from dual-threat quarterback Byrum Brown, who rushed for 108 yards and threw for 103. They also had three costly turnovers that allowed the Bulls to have confidence.
The Crimson Tide have averaged 52.5 points and allowed 8.0 points per game from their opponents. This is an excellent spread coming into this game, but they will face the toughest defense they have seen.
The Badgers have had two consecutive wins with roughly the same outcome. Their latest win was a 27-13 outing over the South Dakota Coyotes. They had a solid lead at the half but allowed the Coyotes to make it interesting.
Tyler Van Dyke had consistent offense with 17 passes completed out of 27 that led to 214 yards and two touchdowns. C.J. Williams was excellent, with two receptions for 53 yards and a touchdown. This type of offense must perform high if they want to stay within reach of the Crimson Tide.
The Badgers accumulated 385 yards and had 23 first downs but a turnover against the Coyotes. They allowed 239 yards and 13 first downs in return. They can win if they can keep possession of the ball and force the Crimson Tide's defense to stay on the field longer.
MyBookie sets you for the best college football betting odds in the Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Wisconsin Badgers game. The Crimson Tide are 15-point favorites to succeed, making them considerable contenders.
Market insights have the Crimson Tide winning with a 92.1 chance. They will have a rough day if they come out sluggish like they did against the Bulls. However, all they need is one quarter to have that outburst (28-point bomb in the fourth on Bulls) to run away with it.
