The Anaheim Ducks (23-40-3) will try their luck to get back on track as they face the Winnipeg Jets (41-19-5) for the third time this season on Friday, March 15 at 8:00 PM ET at the Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, MB. The Jets have gone 2-3 in their last five outings and they need to find consistency while they can against a struggling team. Their most recent battle was a 4-2 defeat against the Nashville Predators, which put them back on the losing side after a previous win.

They might be able to find some relief at home, where they are 22-9-2 here. Despite losing to the Predators here the other night, they have a great opportunity against a team that is much worse. Points leader Mark Scheifele (illness) is a game time decision, but scoring leader Kevin Connor (27 goals) will be ready to go.

The Jets accumulate 3.05 goals and take 30.7 shots a game to get there. You would think they have great offense all around, but they have struggled in power plays (34 goals scored, 41 allowed), with a power play percentage at 18.1.

Their defense will be key if their offense has issues early. They are allowing 2.40 goals and 29.3 shots per game from their opponents. On top of this, their penalty kill percentage could be enough to slow down the Ducks at 77.3.
