The Atlanta Hawks get set to take on the red-hot and streaking Los Angeles Clippers Monday night inside the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. They tip it off at 7:30 pm. The Clippers have been one of the better teams this season. 

Bookmaker has installed the Clippers as a solid - 3.5-point favorite in this clash.

The Clippers have been on a tear of late and are playing some of their best basketball of the season. They have won 10 out of their last 12 games overall as they entered play on Sunday night and now sit a very impressive 15 plus games over .500 on the season.

They have a ton of veteran scorers and presence and they look like a team that is poised to make a deep run into the playoffs. On offense, the Clippers are paced by several key veterans, including power forward Kawhi Leonard, who leads the team in scoring with an average of 24.1 points per game. He also hauls down around seven rebounds a contest and has shown he can continue to rise to the challenge when given the opportunity.

He also is getting a ton of help from veteran scorer Paul George, who is netting close to 22.9 points per game and he is also dishing out around four assists per night. He has stepped up his game this season and both players look like they have turned back the clock. 

The Clippers connect on 55% from the floor, including a very solid 39.4% from beyond the arc. They are a streaky team that can score in bunches and they will look to push the pace in this one. 

The Hawks have not enjoyed the type of season that the Clippers have and they have really struggled on offense and stringing wins together. They just snapped a brief four-game losing streak by putting together a four-game winning streak which they are currently in the midst of. 

They still rely on slasher and scorer Trae Young who is scoring 27.3 points per game. He is having a solid season, but he can only do so much on the offensive side of the floor. He averaged 23 in the month of January and already is scoring 33 a game early on the month of February.

Shooting guard Dejounte Murray is contributing 21 a game in his second season with Atlanta. Overall, the Hawks need to do a better job of getting back on transitional defense and they also have to work harder in the paint. 

The Hawks are 3-2 in their last five games and 2-3 in their last five games against the number. They are a lowly 7-17 in their road games against the spread and the totals have gone over in four out of their last five games and 15 out of their last 24 games at home. The Clippers are a solid 4-1 in their last five games and 3-2 in their last five games against the number too. They are 12-12 in their road games against the spread. The totals have gone over in ten out of their last 23 games at home.
