Bellator 301 is coming up soon on Friday, November 17 and will feature plenty of exciting fights, including the heavyweight bout between Marcelo Golm (10-4-0) and Tyrell Fortune (13-3-0) in the prelims. Fortune is currently favored with a moneyline of -155.

Golm recently had a four-fight win streak snapped when he was defeated by Daniel James back at Bellator 293 in March earlier this year. This was a third round TKO, which marked his second defeat by knockout.

All 10 of his wins have been finished before the need of judges, as he has seven knockouts and three submissions. Eight of these wins are first round finishes, while he has two losses each per knockout and decision.

He has gone 4-4 over his last eight fights. This includes a 1-3 run in the UFC and is currently 2-1 in Bellator. Within those fights, he only boasts a few quality wins.

Golm is currently ranked as the 63^rd-best heavyweight fighter in the world. This will be a tough battle for him, especially since he has struggled against quality fighters lately.

Fortune has gone 2-2 in his last four fights, with his victories ending early. His most recent fight was a first round disqualification (punches to back of head) win against Sergey Bilostenniy back at Bellator 294 in April of this year.

In his 13 wins, he has accumulated eight knockouts, one submission, three decisions, and one by disqualification. Six of these wins, including the DQ, have ended in the first round. Of his three defeats, two have ended by knockout.

He has established an appealing resume in Bellator, going 13-3-0-1 in 15 battles. His recent fights have arguably been some of the tougher ones in his career, making this another tough opportunity for him.

He is considered to be the 45^th-best heavyweight in the world. This will be a great test, especially since he has had issues defending against knockouts. He will need to control the pace in order to have an advantage.

Golm has faced some easier opponents in his previous four-fight win streak. Against experienced opponents, he has not fared as well.  Fortune lucked out in his recent fight and won by default due to the DQ. However, his resume shows more compelling wins against established fighters. Look for Fortune to get back on track with a knockout.
