He has put together 18 wins consisting of two knockouts, 12 submissions, and four decisions. Impressively, nine of his wins have resulted in first round finishes and his only defeat has been by decision.

Patchy has looked stellar in his recent performances since his loss, as he has defeated three consecutive top-five fighters in the division to earn a title shot. Overall, he has gone 7-1 in Bellator with a shot to become champion.

Looking at worldwide rankings, he is currently the 24^th-best bantamweight and 91^st-best pound for pound fighter. His aggressive ground game should play a role in this fight.
