Yaroslav Amosov Betting Preview
Amosov has not lost a fight since his debut professionally in 2012. He has won eight fights in Bellator, with the most recent success being a unanimous decision over top-ranked Logan Storley, his second over him, at Bellator 291 in February of this year.
In his 27 fights, he has a balanced resume consisting of nine knockouts, 10 submissions, and eight decisions. 13 of these wins have resulted in first round finishes.
“Dynamo” has bounced around a few different fighting leagues over the years. These include Grand European Fighting Championship (3-0), Tech-KREP Fighting Championship (9-0), and currently in Bellator (8-0).
Amosov has shown that he can do it all and is currently ranked as the 13
th
-best welterweight fighter in the world. He also ranks globally for the 51
st
-best pound for pound fighter.
Jason Jackson Betting Preview
Jackson has won his last six fights heading into this battle. His most recent success was a unanimous decision over (now ranked seventh) Douglas Lima back in Bellator 283 in July of last year.
So far in his 16 wins, he has four knockouts, three submissions, and nine decisions. Four of those wins have ended in the opening round of the fight and he has two losses each by knockout and decision.
“The Ass-Kicking Machine” has moved around various fighting leagues over the years. After losing in his Dana White’s Contender Series matchup, he has since gone 2-0 in the Legacy Fighting Alliance and 7-1 in Bellator.
He is currently ranked as the 33
rd
-best welterweight fighter in the world. A win here would greatly boost his resume and overall ranking.
Odds, Series Trends and Free Pick
MyBookie has the following moneyline odds favoring Yaroslav Amosov to win. Bettors can look to add him to a parlay with other fights on the night to potentially increase his payout.
Jason Jackson: +163
Yaroslav Amosov: -225
Jackson has earned the right to battle with Amosov after picking off a few quality challengers along the way in Bellator. This will be the biggest test of his career and arguably the one to help define what kind of fighter he really is.
Amosov continues to seek perfection and can win anywhere inside the octagon. Look for this to potentially end early, but Amosov wins by decision.
Spooky Express Pick: Yaroslav Amosov to win at -225
