Big 12 Championship College Football Betting Preview: Oklahoma St Cowboys vs. Texas Longhorns

The Big 12 Championship Game will take place on Saturday afternoon when the Oklahoma State Cowboys face the Texas Longhorns in Arlington, Texas at AT&T Stadium with the game scheduled to kickoff at 12:00 PM ET and will air on ABC.
At the beginning of the season, the Oklahoma State Cowboys appeared to be in for a bad season as they started the season 2-2 which included a 7-33 loss at home against the South Alabama Jaguars, however, since that start the Cowboys have won seven of their last eight games including a double-overtime win at home against the BYU Cougars by a score of 40-34. The offense for Oklahoma State has played a major role in the success they have had this season as they enter this game averaging 30.17 points per game while also having an above-average passing offense as they are averaging 258 passing yards per game. Alan Bowman has played a pivotal role in the success the passing offense has had as he enters this game having completed 248 of 414 attempts for 2,808 yards and ten touchdowns. The Cowboys will be looking to win the Big 12 Championship game for the first time in the history of the Big 12.
Texas is still alive for a spot in the college football playoffs this season but will need to win and have a few teams lose in their conference championship games, as they enter this game with a record of 11-1 and are on a six-game winning streak which includes a 57-7 win at home against the Texas Tech Red Raiders, however, three of their last four games have been decided by ten points or less. The lone loss for the Longhorns came in the “Red River Rivalry” against Oklahoma by a score of 30-34. Texas has been an above-average passing offense and an above-average scoring team this season as they enter this game averaging 259.75 passing yards per game while averaging 35.08 points per game. Quinn Ewers has been one of the top playmakers on offense as he has completed 313 of 305 attempts for 2,709 yards with 17 touchdowns and five interceptions. The Texas Longhorns have won three Big 12 Championship games and will be looking to win their 4
in their last season in the conference before joining the SEC.
