Boston Celtics Betting Preview

The Celtics (48-12) have been on such a tear of late it is almost not fair to the rest of the league how well they have been playing. They are on a beautiful run and are entering this game, having just crushed the Golden State Warriors, 140-88, on Sunday. The game was not even close as the Celtics put this game away in the first quarter.

They have a ton of scoring on their roster and one of the deepest benches in the league and it shows when they want to give their starters some rest, especially in blowout wins like Sunday.

On offense, they are led by Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, who are both scoring over 20 points a game this season, Tatum is around 27, while Brown chips in with just over 22 a contest. This 1-2 punch is a great tandem and they have taken over games this season.

Cleveland Cavaliers Betting Preview

The Cavaliers (39-21) have been a pleasant surprise and they are starting to feel and believe they can be a team that shocks and surprises people. They are a young team and sometimes young teams and players do not know any better and just go out and play and perform and worry about the pressure.

Cleveland is one of those teams and it shows in their recent turnaround and record. They are a team with a ton of athleticism and they have fearless guards who love to put the ball on the floor and create and drive right to the basket.

On offense, they are led by shooting guard Donovan Mitchell, but they will be without his services for the next 7-10 days as he is dealing with a knee issue. He has a left knee bone bruise that will sideline him and his 28 a points a game average.

Look for the Cavaliers to rely on 24-year-old point guard Darius Garland who has had a great season and is averaging around 18 points a game. He will get his clean looks in this one and do not be shocked if he decides to take the ball to the rim more.
