The red-hot and streaking Boston Celtics will take on the reeling Milwaukee Bucks Tuesday night inside the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, WI, in what could be a potential playoff preview. The game will tip off at 7:30 p.m. and will surely be very entertaining. Boston has been the best team in the East, while the Bucks know they need to go through them to get back to the NBA Finals. Bookmaker has installed the Celtics as a slim - 1.5 point favorite. 

The Celtics (62-16) have just flat-out runaway with the Atlantic Division and are coasting to another division title. But they are not going to be content with just that. They feel this is the year they put it all together, get back to the NBA Finals, and win it all. 

They have the talent and, more importantly, the depth on their roster to make a deep run, and we might be in store for an early playoff preview between two of the best teams in the Eastern Conference. They have two dynamic offensive players, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, who have both put up monster numbers this season. 

The Celtics believe they will go as far as those two take them. Tatum is netting around 27 points to go along with just under nine boards a contest, while Brown is contributing 23 points a night with just under five assists. Both players have played at a very high level, and Boston is also getting a ton of assistance from veteran center Kristaps Porzingis, who appears to have finally found a home with the Celtics. He has been dogged throughout his career with injuries, but this season, he has been on the floor and chipped in with 20 points and eight boards for the Celtics. 

The Bucks (47-31) have struggled of late, having dropped four straight and six of seven. If they get bounced early in the playoffs, the in-season head coaching change they made would appear to blow up in their faces. 

Milwaukee thought veteran Head Coach Doc Rivers would be the answer when they made a coaching change, but the Bucks have actually played worse on defense. They are coming into this game having given up 122 points in a loss to the New York Knicks.

Power forward Giannis Anteokounmpo has had a solid season, but he is also a player who has a ton of input on what direction he would like to see the franchise go. He is averaging 30 points a game to go along with 11.6 rebounds a contest, but he can not do it all by himself. They need to get more balance on offense, but the main issue has been the lack of defense they have played for most of the season. This dates back to last season, too. 

If they can contain Brown and Tatum, they cannot win this game. They will also need to win the battle of the boards and get back on transitional defense. 

The Bucks are 1-4 in their last five games and 1-4 in their previous five games against the number too. They are also 16-22 in their road games against the spread, and the totals have gone over in three out of their last five games. The totals have gone over in 22 out of their last 40 games at home, too. Boston is 5-0 in its previous five games and 3-2 in its last five games against the spread. They are also 19-18 in their road games against the number.
