The upstart and rebuilding Chicago Bulls will clash against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night inside Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN. The game will kick off at 7:30 p.m. as the young Bulls try to return to their winning ways. Bookmaker has installed the Pacers as a slim - 4 points favorite in this game, 

The Bulls are looking to rebuild after a brief slide. They enter this one having dropped three out of their last six games and really need to pick up the pace and get back to .500 on the season. They are a young team with a decent lineup, but they are not as seasoned as a team like the Pacers. 

They are 32-32-1 against the number this season and have been very inconsistent when it comes to covering it. They have also had some really bad losses. A win over the Pacers would significantly boost their confidence in the future.

Offensively, they need to keep allowing veteran small forward DeMar DeRozan to create and carry the load for the offense. His presence has helped this young team, but he can only do so much. He enters this clash having averaged 23 a game, and against the Pacers in his career, he has dropped 20 a meeting. 

The Bulls also need to do a better job of knocking down their three-point shots. 

The Pacers are an inconsistent squad still trying to get on a roll. They do have some really nice pieces in place, but we are not sure if they have the depth to make a deep run into the Eastern Conference. 

They are a fun team to watch, and they are ready to take that next step, which means beating the teams they should win. They love to push the pace and score points, which is also appealing to those who play the over when it comes to game totals. They entered Tuesday night's action, winning two out of three before taking on the Oklahoma City Thunder. So, playing them and following up with the Bulls is an excellent test for them. 

On offense, they are paced by superstar and rising point guard Tyrese Haliburton, the standout floor general for this team. Not including Tuesday night, he scored 20 or more in two out of his last four games. He is a player netting 20.8 a game, a touch over his career high of 20.7. He will aim to attack the tin against the Bulls and get right to the hole. The Pacers need to play a clean game and not have careless turnovers. They are connecting on a red-hot 58% from the floor. They will continue that trend against a poor Bulls defense. 

The Pacers are 2-3 in their last five games and 2-3 in their previous five games against the number. They are a solid 17-15 in their road contests against the spread this season, and overall, they have compiled an imposing record of  34-29-3 against the spread. The Bulls are 32-32-1 against the number this season. They are also 3-2 in their last five games and 2-3 in their previous five games against the number.
