The Chicago Bulls get set to take on the reeling and falling Toronto Raptors Tuesday night inside the United Center in Chicago, IL. They tip it off at 8:00 pm on what is a very light night in the NBA. The Raptors will be looking to snap a five-game slide with a win.  Bookmaker has installed the Bulls as a slim 1.5-point favorite. 

The Bulls have had an up-and-down season for the most part and they have dropped two out of three and sit down three games under .500 on the season. They have shown they can put together some wins here and there, but the inability to close out games and the inconsistent play when it comes to scoring points has been an issue this season.

They enter this one, fresh off a 104-96, against Portland and will be looking to build upon that success. On offense, they are paced by DeMar DeRozan, who leads the team with an average of 22 points per contest and he also adds around four rebounds and close to five assists. They will still be without shooting guard Zach LaVine, who will miss more time due to an ankle injury. 

As a team, the Bulls connect 53% from the floor, including 33% from beyond the arc and have had some stretches where they go cold from the floor. 

They need to get DeRozan going early in this one and the Bulls need to figure out a way to get the ball out in transition. That means they need to win the battle on the boards.

The Raptors have had a horrible season and they are desperate for a win and will be looking to snap a five-game losing streak with a win. Overall, they have dropped nine out of ten games and now sit 14 games under .500 on the season. 

They have had issues getting the ball inside the paint and they have not been the most consistent shooting team as well, which has contributed to many losses. Power forward Pascal Siakam has to carry the load from an offensive standpoint, as he is netting around 21 a game to go along with close to eight rebounds and six assists per contest. 

They need to try to slow down the tempo and pace in this game because they do not have the offensive firepower to match the Bulls in this game.

The Bulls are 3-2 in their last five games and 4-1 in their last five games against the spread too. They are also 10-12 in their road games against the number too. The totals have gone over in two out of their last five games and 11 out of their last 24 games at home. Toronto is 0-5 in their last five games and 1-4 in their last five games against the number and just 11-11 in their road games against the spread.
