The Army Golden Knights will travel to Bloomington, Indiana to face the Indiana Hoosiers on Sunday evening at the Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall with tipoff scheduled for 7:00 PM ET, and the game will air on the Big Ten Network.

Army has struggled to start the season as they have lost both of their games to start the season with a loss at home against Marist Red Foxes by a score of 55-71 and on the road against the Stonehill College Skyhawks by a score of 44-57 and are being outscored by their opponents by an average of 49.5 to 64 points per game this season. The Black Knights finished last season with a record of 17-16 including a record of 10-8 in the Patriot Conference which led to a 4^th place finish in the conference. The Army Black Knights defeated the Boston Terriers in the Quarterfinals by a score of 71-69 in overtime before being eliminated from the Conference Tournament by the Colgate Raiders in the Semifinals by a score of 74-91 which led to the Black Knights not receiving an invite to any postseason tournament.

The Indiana Hoosiers have a storied history in college basketball and have started this season with a record of 1-0 following a 69-63 win at home against the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles by a score of 69-63, however, they failed to cover the 14.5-point spread as a home favorite. The Hoosiers have made the NCAA the last two seasons and finished last year with a record of 23-12 and a record of 12-8 in Big Ten Conference play which led to a tie with the Northwestern Wildcats for 2^nd place in the Big Ten. The Hoosiers were eliminated from the Big Ten Conference Tournament in the Semifinals by the Penn State Nittany Lions by a score of 73-77 after defeating the Maryland Terrapins in the Quarterfinals by a score of 70-60 and received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament as a 4 seed and defeated the Kent State Golden Flashes in the 1^st round of the tournament by a score of 71-60 before losing to the Miami Hurricanes in the 2^nd round by a score of 69-85.

This will be the first time in the history of these two programs that they will face each other in college basketball.
