The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers will try to keep up with a high-potent offensive team in the Appalachian State Mountaineers when they travel to Boone, North Carolina in a Sun Belt game on Tuesday evening at 7:30 on ESPN2 at Kidd Brewer Stadium. 

Coastal Carolina enters this game with a record of 2-3 which includes a 28-38 loss on the road against the Georgia Southern Eagles which also drops them to 0-2 in Sun Belt play this season. The Chanticleers failed to cover the 6-point spread as a road underdog in week 6 of the college football season. The Appalachian State Mountaineers enter this game with a record of 3-2 following a 41-40 win on the road against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks while failing to cover the 13.5-point spread as a road favorite in week 6 of the college football season. Joey Aguilar led the team in passing, completing 27 of 39 attempts for 335 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions while rushing for 49 yards. Nate Noel led the team in rushing with 18 carries for 109 yards while adding three receptions for 16 yards. I look for Appalachian State to come away with the win but I look for this game to be tightly-contested which is why I am buying the .5 point and taking the 7 points with the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers for this matchup on Tuesday.
