The Buffalo Bulls will travel to Oxford, Ohio to face the Miami Ohio RedHawks at Fred C. Yager Stadium on Wednesday evening in week 12 of the college football season with the game scheduled to start at 7:00 PM ET and will air on ESPN 2. 

Following last week’s loss at home against the Ohio Bobcats by a score of 10-20 while also failing to cover the 9-point spread as a home underdog, the Buffalo Bulls have been eliminated from bowl game contention with the loss the record of Buffalo has dropped to 3-7 which includes a 3-3 record in the MAC Conference. The offense for the Bulls has played a major role in the lack of success that they have had this season as they enter this game averaging 23 points per game which is below the national average of 28.01 points per game. Their rushing game has also been below average as they are averaging 130.9 rushing yards per game with their leading running back, Ron Cook Jr., only having 517 rushing yards and five touchdowns this season. Things won’t get any easier when they travel to face the division leaders in the East Division, the Miami Ohio RedHawks.

With a win in this game, the Miami Ohio RedHawks will have clinched at least a share of the East Division Championship in the MAC Conference and would clinch their spot in the MAC Championship Game against the Toledo Rockets as they have already defeated the Ohio Bobcats by a score of 30-16 as well as the Bowling Green Falcons by a score of 27-0. The RedHawks enter this game with a record of 8-2 which includes a record of 5-1 in the MAC Conference while also riding a two-game winning streak following last week’s 19-0 win at home against the Akron Zips. The RedHawks have one of the best defenses in the MAC Conference as well as college football as they are allowing an average of 17.1 points per game and the defense will be going up against a struggling offense this week when they face the Buffalo Bulls at home on Wednesday evening.

The Miami Ohio RedHawks have not only been one of the best teams in the MAC this season but they have been one of the best at covering the spread as they are 8-2 ATS overall and have covered every game in which they have been a favorite going 6-0 ATS as a favorite while going 5-1 ATS in conference play.
