A pair of AAC teams will square off at 7:00 PM on Friday evening on ESPN when the Tulane Green Wave travel to Memphis, Tennessee to face the Memphis Tigers at Liberty Stadium in week 7 of the college football season.

The Tulane Green Wave enter this game with a record of 4-1 following a 35-23 win at home against the UAB Blazers while failing to cover the 22.5-point spread as a home favorite in week 5 of the college football season. Tulane scored 35 points while compiling a total of 448 yards offensively which included 184 passing yards and 264 rushing yards while allowing 23 points and 434 total yards defensively which included 264 passing yards and 170 rushing yards. Michael Pratt led the team in passing, completing 14 of 23 attempts for 184 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 40 yards. Makhi Hughes led the team in rushing with 22 carries for 123 yards and two touchdowns while adding a reception for seven yards. Lawrence Keys III led the team in receiving, catching three of six targets for 54 yards and a touchdown.

Memphis enters this game with a record of 4-1 following a 35-32 win at home against the Boise State Broncos while the game ended in a push in week 5 of the college football season. The Tigers scored 35 points while compiling a total of 448 yards offensively which included 269 passing yards and 179 rushing yards while allowing 32 points and 519 total yards defensively which included 375 passing yards and 144 rushing yards. Seth Henigan led the team in passing, completing 18 of 28 attempts for 269 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 64 yards. Blake Watson led the team in rushing with 19 carries for 113 yards and two touchdowns while adding two receptions for 20 yards. Roc Taylor led the team in receiving, catching five of six targets for 102 yards and a touchdown.
