BookMaker has the North Carolina Tar Heels listed as 3-point favorites at home against the Miami Hurricanes on Saturday in week 7 of the college football season. North Carolina has won six of the last ten including the previous four matchups in the series while going 7-3 ATS in the last ten and 2-1 ATS in the last three meetings. Miami is 3-2 ATS overall, 1-0 ATS on the road, 1-0 ATS as an underdog, and 0-1 ATS in conference games this season while the North Carolina Tar Heels are 4-1 ATS overall, 2-1 ATS at home, 4-1 ATS as a favorite, and 2-0 ATS in conference games on the year.

North Carolina is undefeated this season and has been one of the better teams in college football at covering the spread going 4-1 ATS overall. The Tar Heels have also been the better team in the series at covering the spread over the last ten meetings going 7-3 ATS in the last ten and 2-1 ATS in the last three matchups. I look for that trend to continue when the Tar Heels host the Hurricanes on Saturday night which is why I am laying the 3 points and taking North Carolina -3 at home against Miami in week 7 of the college football season.
