The Oklahoma State Cowboys will travel to Houston, Texas to face the Houston Cougars in a Big 12 battle at TDECU Stadium with the game scheduled to start at 4:00 PM ET on Saturday afternoon in week 12 of the college football season and will air on ESPN 2.

After looking like one of the worst teams in the Big 12 at the beginning of the season and starting the year with a record of 2-2 which included a loss at home against the South Alabama Jaguars by a score of 7-33, the Cowboys have won five of their last six games, however, they saw their five-game winning streak come to an end on the road with a blowout loss against the UCF Knights by a score of 3-45 which was the fewest points they have scored this season and was the most points they have given up this season. However, Oklahoma State is 7-3 this season and has a record of 5-2 in the Big 12 which also puts them in a tie for 2^nd place with the Oklahoma Sooners, Iowa State Cyclones, and the Kansas State Wildcats and will be looking to rebound from last week’s stunning loss when they travel to face the Houston Cougars on Saturday afternoon.

The Houston Cougars have been one of the worst teams this season in the Big 12 as they enter this game with a record of 4-6 and have a record of 2-5 in the conference following last week’s 14-24 loss at home against the Cincinnati Bearcats and have been outscored 39-89 over their last three games. Houston has to win out to become bowl-eligible this season, however, they face a tough matchup at home this week and then will have to face a team that has looked like one of the better teams in the conference over the last few weeks on the road against the UCF Knights. Houston’s defense this season has been one of the worst scoring defenses in college football as they enter this game allowing an average of 30.8 points per game and things won’t be any easier this week when the Cougars host the Cowboys in week 12 of the college football season.
