The 2023 “Civil War” will take place on Friday night and will feature two of the best teams in the Pac-12 Conference when the Oregon State Beavers travel to Eugene, Oregon to face the 6^th-ranked Oregon Ducks at Autzen Stadium with the game scheduled to start at 8:30 PM ET and will air on Fox.

The Oregon State Beavers almost defeated the Washington Huskies on Saturday, however, they lost the game by a score of 20-22 at home which also ended their two-game winning streak. Oregon State enters this game with a record of 8-3 including a record of 5-3 in the Pac-12 which puts them in 4^th place in the conference. The defense for the Oregon State Beavers has played a pivotal role in the success they have had this season as they are allowing an average of 20.64 points per game while also having one of the best scoring offenses in college football as they enter this game ranked 18^th in points per game with an average of 36.27 points per game and DJ Uiagaleli has had a resurgence this season after transferring from Clemson as he has completed 161 of 280 attempts for 2,418 passing yards with 20 touchdown and six interceptions and if the Beavers are going to beat the Ducks he will have to have an above-average performance on the road on Friday night.

With a win in this game, the Oregon Ducks will face the Washington Huskies in the Pac-12 Championship game in what could determine one of the playoff spots in the 2023 College Football Playoffs. The Ducks enter this game with a record of 10-1 and are on a five-game winning streak since the loss against the Washington Huskies earlier this season which includes a 49-13 win on the road against the Arizona State Sun Devils with Bo Nix playing a pivotal role in the win as he completed 24 of 29 attempts for 404 yards and six touchdowns and has been a major catalyst in the 2^nd best scoring offense in college football this season and is one of the favorites to win the 2023 Heisman Trophy as he has completed 282 of 361 attempts for 3,539 yards for 35 touchdowns and two interceptions while rushing for 128 yards and five touchdowns. The defense has been equally as impressive as they are allowing the 11^th fewest points per game with an average of 16.73 points per game.
