th
in the Coaches Poll with a record of 5-1 following a 52-40 win on the road against the Cal Bears while covering the 7.5-point spread as a road favorite in week 6 of the college football season. The Beavers scored 52 points while compiling a total of 498 total yards offensively which included 296 passing yards and 202 rushing yards while allowing 40 points and 448 total yards defensively which included 207 passing yards and 241 rushing yards. Damien Martinez led the team in rushing with 17 carries for 89 yards and a touchdown while adding a reception for 16 yards. Anthony Gould led the team in receiving, catching seven of nine targets for 117 yards.
BookMaker has the Oregon State Beavers listed as 3.5-point favorites at home against the UCLA Bruins on Saturday night in week 7 of the college football season. UCLA has won six of the last ten and two of the last three games in the series while going 7-3 ATS in the last ten and 2-1 ATS in the last three meetings. The Bruins are 3-2 ATS overall, 1-1 ATS on the road, 0-1 ATS as an underdog, and 1-1 ATS in conference games this season while the Oregon State Beavers are 4-2 ATS overall, 2-1 ATS at home, 4-2 ATS as a favorite, and 2-1 ATS in conference games on the year.
Both teams have gotten off to fantastic starts this season having only lost one game and while they aren’t likely to be in contention for a conference title, they will have a chance to upset some teams. UCLA has been a solid program with Chip Kelly as the head coach and has been improving the teams since he was hired as the head coach for the Bruins and will look to get his first win against the Beavers as the head coach for UCLA in a series in which the Bruins have been the better team at covering the spread going 7-3 ATS in the last ten and 2-1 ATS in the last three meeting which is why I will be buying the .5 point and taking the UCLA Bruins +4 when they travel to Corvallis to face the Oregon State Beavers on Saturday night.
Spooky Express Pick: UCLA Bruins +4
