A pair of Top 25 Big 12 teams will square off in week 10 of the college football season when the 23rd-ranked Kansas State Wildcats travel to Austin, Texas to face the 7th-ranked Texas Longhorns at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium with kick-off scheduled for 12:00 PM ET on Saturday afternoon and airing nationally on Fox.

The Kansas State Wildcats enter this game ranked 23rd in the College Football Playoff rankings with a record of 6-2 following a 41-0 win at home against the Houston Cougars while covering the 17.5-point spread as a home favorite in week 9 of the college football season. Kansas State scored 41 points while compiling a total of 394 yards offensively which included 215 passing yards and 179 rushing yards while shutting out Houston and allowing 208 total yards defensively which included 95 passing yards and 113 rushing yards.

Texas enters this game ranked 7th in the College Football Playoff rankings with a record of 7-1 following a 35-6 win at home against the BYU Cougars while covering the 20.5-point spread as a home favorite in week 9 of the college football season. The Longhorns scored 35 points while compiling a total of 354 yards offensively which included 170 passing yards and 184 rushing yards while allowing 6 points and 292 total yards defensively which included 197 passing yards and 95 rushing yards.

Maalik Murphy led the team in passing, completing 16 of 25 attempts for 170 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Jonathan Brooks led the team in rushing with 16 carries for 98 yards and a touchdown while adding four receptions for 40 yards. Adonai Mitchell led the team in receiving, catching three of four targets for 59 yards and two touchdowns.

BookMaker has the Texas Longhorns listed as 4-point favorites at home against the Kansas State Wildcats on Saturday afternoon in week 10 of the college football season. Texas has won eight of the last ten including the previous six meetings in a row while going 6-4 ATS in the last ten and 3-0 ATS in the last three games in the series. The Kansas State Wildcats are 6-2 ATS overall, 1-2 ATS on the road, 1-0 ATS as an underdog, and 4-1 ATS in conference games this season while the Texas Longhorns are 4-4 ATS overall, 2-2 ATS at home, 3-4 ATS as a favorite, and 3-2 ATS in conference games on the year.

Texas will be without Quinn Ewers again this week and even though it didn’t matter last week, that was against an inferior opponent, while this week they will be playing against one of the better teams in the conference. Kansas State has been one of the best teams at covering the spread in the Big 12 going 6-2 ATS overall and 4-1 ATS in their conference games this season which is why I am taking the points with the Kansas State Wildcats when they face the Texas Longhorns on the road.
