The 7^th-ranked Texas Longhorns will travel to Fort Worth, Texas to face the TCU Horned Frogs at Amon G. Carter Stadium in a battle of two Big 12 teams the game is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 PM ET and will air nationally on ABC on Saturday night in week 11 of the college football season.

The Texas Longhorns are still alive for a playoff spot in the 2023 College Football Playoffs this season, but need help as they enter this game ranked 7^th in the College Football Playoff rankings with a record of 8-1, however, they are in the driver’s seat to make it to the Big 12 Championship game in their final year in the conference as they are currently in 1^st place in the Big 12. Since the lone loss for the Longhorns against the Oklahoma Sooners in week 6, Texas has gone on a three-game winning streak which includes last week’s overtime win at home against the Kansas State Wildcats by a score of 33-30. Texas will get a major boost this week when Quinn Ewers returns after missing the previous two games with a shoulder injury.

TCU made it to the National Championship title game last season, although they were embarrassed against the Georgia Bulldogs in the game. This season, the TCU Horned Frogs have to win two of their remaining three games to get to six wins. They enter this game with a record of 4-5 and are entering a tough stretch as they will have to face the Texas Longhorns, Baylor, Bears, and Oklahoma Sooners. The Horned Frogs are also on a two-game losing streak following last week’s 28-35 loss on the road against the Texas Tech Red Raiders while failing to cover the 2.5-point spread as a road underdog.

TCU has won seven of the last ten and two of the last three meetings while going 7-3 ATS in the last ten and 2-1 ATS in the last three games in the series. The Texas Longhorns are 4-4-1 ATS overall, 2-1 ATS on the road, 3-4-1 ATS as a favorite, and 3-2-1 ATS in conference games this season while the TCU Horned Frogs are 3-6 ATS overall, 2-3 ATS at home, 0-2 ATS as an underdog, and 2-4 ATS in conference games on the year.
