College Football Betting Preview: Washington Huskies vs. Oregon St Beavers
November 18, 2023
One of the best games in week 12 of the college football season will take place in the Pac-12 conference when the 5
-ranked Washington Huskies travel to Corvallis, Oregon to face the 11
-ranked Oregon State Beavers at Reser Stadium with the game kicking off at 7:30 PM ET on Saturday evening and will air nationally on ABC.
The Washington Huskies have been the best team in the Pac-12 this season with a record of 10-0 which includes a record of 7-0 in the Pac-12 Conference and a win in this matchup will lock up one of the spots in the Pac-12 Championship game. The Huskies have one of the best offenses this season in college football as they enter this game averaging the 5
most points per game with an average of 41 points per game and their passing attack has been the best this season as they are averaging the most passing yards per game with an average of 373 passing yards and Michael Penix has been one of the best players in college football this year. Penix enters this game having completed 249 of 367 attempts for 3,533 yards with 28 touchdowns and seven interceptions and is one of the favorites to win the 2023 Heisman Trophy. However, the Huskies will be facing one of their toughest opponents this season when they travel to face the Oregon State Beavers.
Oregon State still has an outside chance of making it to the Pac-12 Championship game, however, they have to win their remaining two games this season and both games will be against Top 10 teams as they will face the Washington Huskies and their rivals, the Oregon Ducks, next week. The defense for the Beavers has been one of the main reasons for their success this season as they are allowing an average of 20.5 points per game which is below the national average of 25.48 points per game. D.J. Uiagalelei has also played a pivotal role for the success Oregon State has had this season as he enters this game having completed 146 of 249 attempts for 2,254 yards with 20 touchdowns and four interceptions while rushing for six touchdowns. The Beavers will have their hands full this week when they host the Washington Huskies on Saturday evening.
BookMaker has the Oregon State Beavers listed as 2.5-point favorites
at home against the Washington Huskies on Saturday evening in week 12 of the college football season. Washington has won nine of the last ten and two of the last three meetings. Both teams are 5-5 ATS in the last ten while the Beavers are 3-0 ATS in the last three games in the series. The Washington Huskies are 4-5-1 ATS overall, 2-2 ATS on the road, and 2-4-1 ATS in conference games this season while the Oregon State Beavers are 6-4 ATS overall, 4-1 ATS at home, 6-4 ATS as a favorite, and 4-3 ATS in conference games on the year.
Washington has been the best team in the Pac-12 this season as they have already defeated the Oregon Ducks earlier this season and enter this game undefeated with a record of 10-0. The Huskies have dominated the series against the Beavers having won nine of the last ten meetings. I look for that trend to continue on Saturday evening which is why I am taking the moneyline for the Washington Huskies at +117 when they travel to face the Oregon State Beavers.
Spooky Express Pick: Washington Huskies Moneyline (+117)
