Cure Bowl Betting Preview: Appalachian St Mountaineers vs. Miami-Ohio RedHawks

The 2023 Cure Bowl will take place on Saturday afternoon and will feature the Miami-Ohio RedHawks facing off against the Appalachian State Mountaineers in Orlando, Florida at FBC Mortgage Stadium with the game kicking off at 3:30 PM ET and will air on ABC.
The Miami-Ohio RedHawks won the MAC Conference game against the Toledo Rockets by a score of 23-14 and finished with a record of 11-2 which also led to an East Division Championship in the MAC. in college football, however, they featured a below-average offense that averaged 26.92 points per game which was below the national average of 27.93 points per game.
Miami Ohio finished the season on a five-game winning streak following the win in the MAC Championship and will look to finish with the most wins in school history with 12 wins with a win in the Cure Bowl against the Appalachian State Mountaineers.

place in the East Division of the Sun Belt Conference, however, since James Madison was not eligible for the Sun Belt Championship game, the Mountaineers replaced them to face the Troy Trojans which resulted in a 23-49 loss for Appalachian State and ended their five-game winning streak to finish with a record of 8-5.

in college football and they had one of the best passing offenses as they averaged 270.08 passing yards per game. Joey Aguilar was one of the main reasons for the success of the offense for Appalachian State this season as he enters this game having completed 275 of 428 attempts for 3,546 yards with 33 touchdowns and nine interceptions while adding 235 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
The Appalachian State Mountaineers will look to bounce back following the loss in the Sun Belt Championship game against the Troy Trojans when they face the Miami Ohio RedHawks in the Cure Bowl on Saturday afternoon.
