The upcoming Week 10 of Dana White’s Contender Series features plenty of standout matchups for betting opportunities. The main event will feature the talents of two bantamweights, with Ramon Taveras and Cortavious Romious being the face of the event.

Ramon Taveras Betting Preview

Taveras is coming off a first-round knockout defeat to Serhiy Sidney back at Dana White’s Contender Series back in September of this year. This will be another tough attempt to earn a UFC contract.

He showcases eight wins on his resume, consisting of four knockouts, three submissions, and one decision. Coming into this fight, he has four first round finishes that could show up once again. Out of two defeats, both have come by knockout.

“The Savage” is aiming to make good on his second attempt in the DWCS. However, his defense against strikes were on display in his last matchup. He previously did not have these issues in Combat Night, where he went 8-1 in the promotion.

Looking at his current regional rankings, he comes in as the 114^th best in the United States for best bantamweight. A huge opportunity is in front of him, which he cannot afford to lose again.

Cortavious Romious Betting Preview

Romious has won his last three bouts and aims to impress with his debut in front of DWCS. His recent win was a first round armbar submission against Nathan Williams back at Legacy Fighting Alliance in June of this year.

So far, he has accumulated five wins from one knockout, three submissions, and one decision. Four of these wins have resulted in first round finishes and his only loss is by decision.

“Are You Not Entertained?” is getting a good opportunity to face a tough opponent, as a few of his previous encounters have been solid. He has gone 3-0 in 360 Fight and 1-0 in LFA, making this one of the toughest matchups of his career.

Romious is currently ranked as the 74^th best bantamweight fighter in the US. A win here would be tremendous to his career.
