DP World Tour Championship Betting Preview

Jumeirah Golf Estates has hosted this event since its inception and plenty of amazing golf has been played here. It measures right around 7,675 yards and features a couple of par-fives that are over 600 yards.

The greens are quite large with Bermuda grass, there are a few water hazards on the last three holes, and there are almost 100 bunkers to worry about throughout the course. However, golfers still did not have that many issues last year when Jon Rahm finished with -20.

Golfers with Best Chance to Win

The 2023 DP World Tour Championship showcases a tough field similar to last year. Below are the possible golfers that stand out and could land within the top 10 or win.

Rory McIlroy +450

McIlroy tied for fourth place last year at this event with an overall score of -16 and had -4 on the final day of action. He has won here in the past, twice to be exact, in 2012 (-23) and in 2015 (-21).  He is currently the best golfer in the DP World Rankings. He is also coming off of a T7 performance at the BMW PGA Championship.

Matt Fitzpatrick +1400

Fitzpatrick has won this event twice, with a 2016 win (-17) and again in 2020 (-15). While his scores are not as high as some of the other golfers that have typically won it, he happened to be the best golfer in both of those situations to end that tournament.
