The Temple Owls will travel to Boca Raton, Florida to face the 24^th-ranked Florida Atlantic Owls at Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena with the game scheduled to start at 7:00 PM ET on Thursday evening and will air on ESPN 2.

The Temple Owls enter this game with an overall record of 8-16 and a conference record of 1-10 which puts them in last place in the AAC and are on a nine-game losing streak following Sunday’s 70-73 loss against the Charlotte 49ers. Temple has been a below-average team offensively as they enter this game averaging 70.83 points per game which is below the national average of 73.96 points per game. 

Defensively, the Owls have also been below-average as they are allowing an average of 73.79 points per game which is more than the national average of 71.86 points allowed per game. Hysier Miller has been one of the better players on the team as he leads the team in scoring and assists with an average of 15.8 points and 4.1 assists per game. The Temple Owls will look to end their nine-game losing streak when they travel to face the Florida Atlantic Owls on Thursday evening.

The Florida Atlantic Owls enter this game ranked 24^th in the AP Poll, however, the Owls aren’t ranked in the Coaches Poll with a record of 19-5 and are in 2^nd place in the AAC with a record of 9-2 following a 95-82 overtime win on the road against the Wichita State Shockers on Sunday. Johnell Davis has been one of the best players on the team as he leads the team in scoring and is 2^nd on the team in rebounds and steals with an average of 18.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game. 

Offensively, Florida Atlantic has been one of the highest-scoring teams in college basketball as they are averaging 82.96 points per game which ranks 19^th in the nation, however, they have been a slightly below-average team defensively as they are allowing an average of 72.25 points per game. The Florida Atlantic Owls will look to build off the momentum following the win against the Shockers when they host the Temple Owls on Thursday evening.
