The Houston Rockets clash against the streaking and suddenly red-hot Golden State Warriors Thursday night inside Toyota Center in Houston, TX. They tip it off at 8 p.m. as the Warriors look to make a late-season push into the playoffs. This might be the Warriors' last push, as many feel the dynasty has ended. 

Bookmaker has installed the Warriors as a slim - 3.5-point favorite. 

The Warriors (41-34) have had an up-and-down season but have started to play their best basketball at just the right time. They have ripped off five straight and six of eight overall to push their record to seven games over .500.

More importantly, the Warriors are sitting on the outside looking in. They are currently in 10^th place in the playoff seedings, and a strong push can get them into the play-in game. They are only three games back of the Phoenix Suns, who sit in eighth place in the Western Conference. 

On offense, the team is still led by the face of the franchise, Stephen Curry. Some thought he would have been dealt at the league trade deadline because the Warriors appeared to be on the rebuild trail. He is averaging 26 points a night and is still a deadly shooter from the outside. 

The Rockets (38-37) have gotten back into the mix thanks to an incredible 11-game winning streak that just ended. Houston has dropped two straight since that run, but they have managed to regain what they lost earlier in the season and that win. 

They are still within striking distance of a playoff spot and need a win against the Warriors, who are also trying to get back to the postseason. The Rockets are not the deepest and most talented team, but they have found a way to grind out some wins over the last month or so. 

On offense, they are led by solid shooting guard Jalen Green, who is netting around 20 points a game. He is also hauling down close to six rebounds and handing out just under four assists per contest. 

Look for Green to push the pace and shoulder the offense load, but the key for the Rockets will be whether they can contain Curry. He has been on a tear of late and has had some big games against the Rockets in his career.
