Race 8 - Carousel Stakes - 150K - Dirt

• 1 - ADALINE JULIA - Torres/Diodoro. Rate and closer who should catch a lively pace with the two favorites.  Could pick up the pieces with a hot pace.


• 7 - MUCHO MACHO GIRL - Hernandez/Stewart. Bullet works for this race, 1/88 and 1/10.  Looks to be in prime shape for race.


• 8 - ZEITLOS  - Gaffalione/Asmussen. Rate and closer who did 6F in 1:09 and ran an 88 Beyer.

Race 9 - THE HONEYBEE - Grade 3

• 2 - BAND OF GOLD - Hernandez/McPeek. Red hot combo who ran an 86 Beyer last out in the slop. Can he repeat this on the dirt is the big question?


• 6 - WEST OMAHA - Torres/Cox. Horse just gets better and better with each race. Stretches out just a bit after closing and being eased up when winning by 5.


• 10 - MIDSHIPMANS DANCE - Vazquez/Diodoro. Sprint toroute angle. Drew off at 6F and now stretches out. Could be a nice price.

Race 10 - THE RAZORBACK HANDICAP -Grade 3

• 4 - AINT LIFE GOOD - Garcia/Von Hemel. Ran this distance in 1:42 at this very track and won by two with a career best 100 Beyer. Has solid works coming in. Major threat.


• 8 - MAGIC TAP - Gaffalione/Asmussen.  Second off long layoff. Ran a 93 Beyer on return. Should improve off that effort and that is dangerous here.


• 12 - ESCAPOLOGIST - Hernandez/McPeek. I am taking this horse with the concept that this combo was red hot together. Deep closer who could make some noise at a price.


• 13 - BOLZY - Arrieta/Von Hemmel. Third race of the form cycle with a 96 Beyer last out. Facing tougher here, but shows a 1/73 work and this one can rate and close.

Race 11 - THE REBEL - Grade 2

• 1 - CARBONE - Castillo/Asmussen. We lost with this horse last out when I said it would win. That was a sloppy track. Hoping this dry track does the trick. Exotics


• 7 - TIMBERLAKE - Torres/Cox.   Breeders Cup Juvenile horse that came in 4^th, but he hated the track. Has the potential to win, but could be a vulnerable favorite.


• 13 - TIME FOR TRUTH - Bejarano/Moquett. Third trace of the form cycle. Broke maiden on dirt here at 6F. Next race was in the slop where it came in second. Will try to go wire to wire here.  Exotics only.
