I am sticking with Belmont Park even though it is going to rain on Saturday. Pay attention to surface conditions.

Race 5 - OFF THE TURF

2 – JESTER’S SONG – McCarthy/Rice. This horse takes to the slop rather well. Exotics

4 – RELATE – Irad/Pletcher. Top 2. Hope for a decent price, but I doubt it.

10 – IMPROPER – Franco/Rodriguez. Entered for main track only. There is a reason.

Race 6 - THE WILD APPLAUSE - Turf

4 – I’M JUST KIDDIN – Jose/Kimmel. Sire is JUSTIFY who did not mind the slop. Horse should be sitting off the pace closing. Exotics.

6 – SOVIET EXCESS – Davis/Pletcher. Horse has never run in the slop and if he does he just might take to it with UNCLE MO on his side. This one will be a price, but I would take the chance.

9 – SHIDABHUTI – Entered for main track only. Will be a heavy favorite if off the turf and should be. WINNER!

Race 8 - TURF

This is a 1/ 1/4 turf race. It should stay the distance if moved to the main track.

1/1A – Coupled entry who have the race and pace style to make a good showing. Low price. Exotics.

6 – ROYAL SPIRIT – Lezcano/Rice – Solid rate and closer who should take to the slop. Major player

9 – RESERVE CURRENCY – Irad/Brown. Main track only horse who can sit off the pace and close. Has two good efforts over an off surface. Top 2.
