The Indiana Pacers get set to clash against the struggling Toronto Raptors Monday night inside Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana on what is a very light night in the league. They tip it off at 7pm.

Bookmaker has installed the Pacers as a solid 6 1/2 point favorite in what should be an interesting clash. 

The Pacers have been a very solid and sound team this season and they have shown they are a very competitive team as well. They are right there in the thick of things in the Central division and they are within striking distance of the first-place Cleveland Cavaliers, who looked like they were going to run away with the division a month or so ago. 

Point guard Tyrese Haliburton has been a fun player to watch and root for. He carries himself right  on and off the floor and has stepped up to become the face of the franchise. The 23-year-old is averaging 21 points a game to go along with a career-high 11 assists per contest. He controls the pace and the tempo and is very unselfish when it comes to getting his teammates involved. 

The Pacers convert around 53% from the floor, including 37% from beyond the arc. They are a streaky team but they can catch fire from the floor at any moment. 

Veteran forward Pascal Siakam has been a breath of fresh air since the club acquired him around the trade deadline from the team they will be facing. Siakam has a chance to haunt his old team and he has been netting 21 for the Pacers after spending over eight years with the Raptors. 

The Raptors have not enjoyed the type of season that the Pacers have and they are clearly in a rebuild mode. They are looking to the future and see if they have any players worth keeping around for the future. 

After the Siakam move they have had issues scoring and they are lacking when it comes to having a veteran presence. It shows on the floor where they look disinterested and not engaged. They rely on shooting guard RJ Barrett who is averaging close to 20 a game but might not be able to go due to a knee issue.

Toronto is connecting on 54% from the floor, including 38% from beyond the arc. They will have to keep this game close heading into the fourth quarter and they will need their role players and bench to step up as well. 

Look for Scottie Barnes to play a hand in this one as well as he has scored over 20 in his career against the Pacers and has had some big games.
