The Memphis Grizzlies get set to clash against the Sacramento Kings Monday night inside the FedEx Forum in Memphis, TN. They tip it off at 8:00 pm in a battle between two talented teams that are going in opposite directions in the Western Conference.  Bookmaker has installed the Kings as a -8 point favorite. 

The Kings (26-18) have enjoyed a great start to the season and they have a ton of athletic playmakers who can not only put the ball on the floor but score at will. One of those players is 26-year-old De'Aaron Fox, who is netting a team-high 27 points to pace all players on the squad. 

He has some big games already this season and can score in bunches. He enters this game coming off a 34-point explosion against the Dallas Mavericks during a 120-115 win. The Kings will look to push the ball up the floor and take advantage of an injury-ridden team in Memphis. 

The Kings know the Grizzlies will not have the firepower to match them and that is why they will attack the basket every chance they get. This could be a wild-scoring game. Power forward Domantas Sabonis has been a player to watch too, as he plays both ends of the floor and loves to play right around the basket. 

He is pouring in 19 a game to go along with 12 rebounds per game. As a whole unit, the Kings connect on 56% from the floor, including 37% from three-point land. 

The Grizzlies (18-28) have dealt with a ton of adversity already this season but they have fought through it. But, they did lose to Indiana, 116-110, on Sunday and saw their three-game winning streak snapped in the process. 

They welcomed back superstar Ja Morant from a long suspension only to lose him again due to surgery on his right shoulder. He is out for the remainder of the season and they need to figure out a way to pick up the offensive slack.

Morant was averaging around 25 in just nine games played but you felt he was just getting his legs under him and knocking off the rust. They also lost Desmond Bane who was averaging 22 a game but will be out for at least a couple more weeks due to a left ankle sprain. 

Power forward Jaren Jackson Jr. has had a great season so far as he is averaging 22 a game but has not had many big games against the Kings. He is just netting four points against them in his career.Memphis will need to win the battle on the glass and also step up their defensive efforts in this one. They need to guard inside the paint and lane and also just try to outwork the Kings.

Memphis is 3-2 in their last five games and 3-2 in their last five games against the number and they are 14-11 in their road games against the spread.
