The red-hot Baltimore Orioles conclude their four-game set against the struggling Chicago White Sox with the finale of the series Wednesday afternoon. They toss out the first pitch at 1:05 pm for this early start time. The Orioles won 9-3 in Tuesday's night contest as they cooled off for just one night and look to jump start things with a win on Wednesday.

The Orioles (83-49) have been such a fun story and team to watch and root for this season and if you have been betting on them of late, you are doing well for yourself as they are in the midst of another run. They have ripped off six of seven including Tuesday's easy win and are now just 2 1/2 games ahead of the Tampa Bay Rays as they maintain a very slim but important lead over the Rays in the AL East. They will toss out veteran hurler Kyle Gibson who has strung together a solid season as he has compiled a mark of 13-7 to go along with an ERA of 4.89. He has fanned 135 hitters in 158.1 innings of work for the Orioles, who have a team ERA of 4.00 on the season. 

Chicago White Sox Betting Preview

The White Sox (52-81) have had a horrible season and they have not been able to get out of their own way, as they seem to be relishing the thought the 2023 campaign is coming to a close for them. Their offense was one of the worse this season and they have had difficulty scoring runs on a consistent basis. 

They do not have a ton of offensive weapons, and the lone bright spot this season has been Luis Robert Jr,. who has smacked a team-high and career-high 34 home runs for a team that is hit or miss. They have dropped four of six overall.

They are hitting .240 as a team and have only hit a total of 145 home runs this season. 

They will send out Dylan Cease who sports a 5-7 record to go along with an ERA of 4.81. He has dropped two of his last three decisions as he had issues with control and getting out of early inning jams.
