The Ohio Bobcats will look to get to double-digit wins for the 2nd consecutive season and finish the season on a four-game winning streak when they face the Georgia Southern Eagles in the Myrtle Beach Bowl on Saturday morning.

BookMaker has the Georgia Southern Eagles listed as 3.5-point favorites against the Ohio Bobcats in the Myrtle Beach Bowl on Saturday morning. This will be the first time in the history of these two programs that they will face each other in college football. The Georgia Southern Eagles are 5-7 ATS overall and 5-3 ATS as a favorite this season while the Ohio Bobcats are 6-6 ATS overall and 2-1 ATS as an underdog on the year.

A classic matchup of a high-powered offense against a strong defense as Georgia Southern has been one of the highest-scoring teams in college football this season with an average of 30.92 points per game while Ohio has the 5th best scoring defense in the nation as they are allowing an average of 15.42 points per game.

Ohio has lost a ton of players heading to the transfer portal and if teams were playing at 100% and there was no transfer portal, things may be different but the way they are, we have to sort of side with Georgia Southern. This is a very small play, half unit. Nothing crazy, this is day one of the bowl season!
