Two Southeast Division rivals will square off on Sunday afternoon in the NBA when the Atlanta Hawks travel to Washington, District of Columbia to face the Washington Wizards at the Capital One Arena with the tip-off scheduled for 3:00 PM ET and will air on Bally Sports Southeast.

Atlanta has been a below-average team this season as they enter this game in 11^th place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 12-19 and are on a four-game losing streak following a 110-117 loss at home against the Sacramento Kings on Friday. The Hawks prefer to play at a faster pace than the average NBA team which leads them to score a lot of points while also allowing a lot of points as they enter this game averaging the 3^rd most points per game in the league with an average of 121.94 points per game while allowing the 4^th most points per game with an average of 122.58 points per game. 

Trae Young is the best player on the team and is averaging a double-double this season with an average of 27.9 points and 11.2 assists per game. The Atlanta Hawks will look to end their four-game losing streak when they travel to face the Washington Wizards.

Kyle Kuzma has been one of the lone bright spots for Washington this year as he leads the team in scoring with an average of 22.6 points per game. The Washington Wizards will look to build off the momentum following Friday’s win at home against the Nets when they host the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday afternoon.

I expect the Hawks to win this game, however, Washington has the better record ATS as they are 15-16 ATS overall which is why I am buying the .5 point and taking the points with the Washington Wizards when they host the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday afternoon.
