Game two of Tuesday’s doubleheader on TNT will feature the Boston Celtics traveling to San Francisco, California to face the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center with tip-off scheduled for 10:00 PM on Tuesday night.

 

The Boston Celtics have the best record in the Eastern Conference and are tied with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the best record in the NBA at 20-5 and are on a five-game winning streak following a 114-97 win at home against the Orlando Magic on Sunday. The Celtics have won by an average margin of 12 points per game in those matchups.

 

Boston is one of the best defensive teams in the league as they are allowing the 3^rd fewest points per game with an average of 108.52 points per game while also having been one of the higher-scoring teams in the NBA as they are averaging 117.64 points per game which ranks 7^th in the NBA.

 

Jayson Tatum has played a pivotal role in the success of the Celtics this season as he leads the team in scoring and rebounds with an average of 27.3 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. The Boston Celtics will look to extend their winning streak to six games when they travel to face the Golden State Warriors.

 

Golden State has been one of the most disappointing teams this season in the NBA as they enter this game in 11^th place in the Western Conference with a record of 12-14, however, they are on a two-game winning streak following a 118-114 win on the road against the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday.

 

The Warriors aren’t as explosive offensively as they have been in previous seasons, however, they are still an above-average scoring team this season as they enter this game averaging 115.88 points per game, however, Golden State is a below-average team defensively as they are allowing an average of 115.65 points per game which is more than the league average of 114.98 points per game.

 

Stephen Curry is still one of the best players offensively in the league in his 14^th NBA season as he enters this game leading the team in scoring with an average of 28 points per game. Golden State will look to extend their winning streak to three games when they host the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night.
