The Hornets have one of the best scoring teams in the league as they enter this game averaging 116.29 points per game which ranks 9^th in the NBA, however, they are allowing the 3^rd most points per game in the NBA with an average of 123.14 points per game. The Charlotte Hornets will face a difficult opponent on Sunday when they travel to face the New York Knicks.

The New York Knicks are .500 this season, however, after a 1-2 start to the season the Knicks have won three of their last five games and are on a two-game winning streak following a 126-105 win at home against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday while covering the 9-point spread as a home favorite. The Knicks are allowing the 2^nd fewest points per game in the league with an average of 102.75 points per game, however, they are also scoring the 2^nd fewest points per game with an average of 107.13 points per game as they like to play at a slower pace than the majority of the NBA which goes against how the Hornets like to play and should equate to a lower-scoring game on Sunday afternoon when the Knicks host the Hornets.
