The Miami Heat get set to clash against the streaking Oklahoma City Thunder Wednesday night inside the Kayesa Center in Miami, Florida. They tip it off at 7:30 pm.  Bookmaker has installed the Thunder as a small - 3 1/2 point favorite in this clash. 

The Heat (21-15) are coming off a solid 120-113 win over the Houston Rockets. They got a ton of balance scoring in the game, as they were led by Tyler Herro who scored 28 points, while Bam Adebayo finished with 22 points and 12 rebounds. The Heat led pretty much the entire game and it marked a solid all around effort on the offensive side. They have won two out of the last three overall. 

Miami was scorching from beyond the arc, as they connected on 15-of-36 from beyond the arc in the win. On the season, they are led by Tyler Herro who leads the team in scoring with an average of 22 points per game to go along with just under six rebounds per contest. 

The Heat have several big time scorers on offense and let us not forget veteran Jimmy Butler, who can still knock them down and create his own shot. Miami overall is connecting on 52% from the floor, including 33% from beyond the arc. 

When the Heat get out and run and score more than 114 points a game they carry an 11-6 mark against the number and a very impressive 14-3 record overall. 

The Thunder (24-11) have been on a nice little tear of late, as they have won six out of their last eight games overall and have really played well this season. The expectations were not that high for them heading into the season but they have played really well of late, and they look like they have some sustainability. 

They have the look and makeup of a team that can get into the playoffs. 

On offense, they are led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander who is putting up some big time numbers, including pouring in a team-high 31 points per contest to go along with six rebounds and close to seven assists per game. Look for them to push the pace and get up the floor as quickly as possible. As a whole, the Thunder are connecting on 56% from the floor, while draining 39% from beyond the arc. 

The Thunder also have a solid bench and if they need to get some role players out on the floor for key moments they can, as they have that luxury. Shooting guard Isaiah Joe has been a nice spark, as he nets nine points off the bench. 

The Heat are 3-2 in their last five games and 2-3 in their last five games against the number too. They are 11-8 in their road games against the number too. The Thunder are 3-2 in their last five games and 2-3 in their last five games against the spread. The Thunder are 9-6 in their road games against the number too.
