NBA Betting Pick and Prediction: Milwaukee Bucks vs. Orlando Magic

November 11, 2023

The Milwaukee Bucks will travel to Orlando, Florida to face the Orlando Magic at the Amway Center on Saturday evening with tip-off scheduled for 6:00 PM ET.

Milwaukee has not had as great of a start as many expected them to have with the addition of Damian Lillard, however, they do enter this game with a winning record of 5-3 and are currently in 5th place in the Eastern Conference behind the Philadelphia 76ers, Boston Celtics, Indiana Pacers, and the Atlanta Hawks. The Bucks are coming off a loss against their division rivals, the Indiana Pacers, on Thursday evening by a score of 124-126 while failing to cover the spread as a 1.5-point spread as a road favorite. However, Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to have an impressive season this year as he scored 54 points in the game to go along with 12 total rebounds. Antetokounmpo is currently in 8th place in points per game in the NBA with an average of 28.1 points per game and he will look to continue that momentum when the Bucks travel to take on the Orlando Magic on Saturday evening.

The Orlando Magic started the season off winning two games, losing two games, winning two games, and are now on a two-game losing streak following a 119-120 loss at home against the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday while covering the 3.5-point spread as a home underdog. The Magic have struggled this season because they don’t have a star player offensively as nobody on the team is averaging over 20 points per game with the leader in scoring for the Magic this season being Paolo Banchero, who is averaging 18 points per game. The Magic will be looking to end their two-game losing streak and get above .500 this season when they host the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday.

BookMaker has the Milwaukee Bucks listed as 3-point favorites on the road against the Orlando Magic on Saturday evening. Milwaukee has won the last ten games in the series while winning by an average margin of 18.6 points per game over the last ten and 13.33 points per game over the last three meetings. The Bucks are 7-3 ATS in the last ten and 2-1 ATS in the last three games in the series. The Milwaukee Bucks are 1-6-1 ATS overall, 0-3 ATS on the road, and 1-6-1 ATS as a favorite this season while the Orlando Magic are 6-2 ATS overall, 2-1 ATS at home, and 3-2 ATS as an underdog on the year.

Milwaukee is the more talented team this season, however, the Bucks have been one of the worst teams in the league at covering the spread going 1-6-1 ATS overall, and have not covered the spread on the road this season with a record of 0-3 ATS on the road. Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic have been one of the best teams at covering the spread going 6-2 ATS overall and 2-1 ATS at home which is why I am taking the points with the Orlando Magic when they host the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday evening.
