The Milwaukee Bucks hit the road and take on the slumping Washington Wizards Monday night inside the Capitol One Arena in Washington, DC. They tip it off at 7:00 pm. The Wizards are really reeling as they have dropped five straight and nine of ten overall. 

The Bucks (9-40 have ripped off four straight wins after a bad loss to a young Orlando Magic team. They have buckled down on defense and they have put teams away and scored at a high level and pace. They have had some high-scoring games if you like playing the total here and there, but their defensive effort has been very impressive during this winning streak. 

They are led by the all-world player in Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is playing at a very high level. The face of the franchise is averaging a whopping 29.3 points per game and he is also hauling down just under ten boards a night. He also plays both ends of the floor and gives the Bucks a great defensive presence in the lane. 

The Wizards (2-10) have endured a terrible start to their season and if they had any playoff aspirations before the season started, they can kiss them goodbye right now. Another slow start out of the gate has done them in. 

They can not get out of their own way and are clearly one of the worst teams in the entire league. They are also 1-4 at home and do not have much of a home-court advantage to speak of. They are led on offense by small forward Kyle Kuzma who has netted close to 23.5 points per contest. He is clearly the club's best offensive weapon but he can carry the weight of his offense all on his shoulders. 

They need to do a better job of getting production out of their bench if they want to have a competitive season. They also need more from shooting guard Jordan Poole who is averaging 15 a night. His veteran presence is needed more so than ever. The Wizards need to figure out a way to stop this slide and just get a win. 

They must do a better job when it comes to playing smart basketball as they turn it over 15 times a game. That is not the recipe for winning hoops. 

Look for the Bucks to get the ball inside to the big man and once he draws double teams, that will be a great opportunity for their shooting guards to get into the mix and knock down open looks. 

The Wizards are 0-5 in their last five games and 1-4 in their last five games against the number. They are also 4-3 in their road games against the number too. The totals have gone over in two of their last five games and three out of their last five games at home. The Bucks are 4-1 in their last five games and 3-2 in their last five games against the number and they are just 2-4 in their road games against the spread. 

Bucks are too deep and the Wizards are sliding.
