The Mavs look ready to entertain fans this season. With the combination of Kyrie Irving and Luca Doncic, this is a tough duo to beat. In the Spurs win, Irving had 22 points on a bad shooting night, but Doncic shined with 33 points.

They also had good production from their bench, with three guys having 10 or more points. The only drawback to their matchup with the Spurs is that they allowed 43 points alone in the first quarter to start the game.

The Mavs like to play fast with Irving and Doncic and to create offense early. This could bode well in their favor against a Nets team trying to find their rhythm.
