NBA Betting Picks and Predictions: Milwaukee Bucks vs. Toronto Raptors

November 15, 2023

The Milwaukee Bucks will look to get back to their winning ways when they take the floor and clash against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night inside Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario. They jump it up at 7:30 pm.  Mybookie has installed the Bucks as a five-point favorite.

Milwaukee Bucks Betting Preview

The Bucks (6-4) have not been a very dominant team through the first several weeks of the season, but they are a veteran team that has won before and it should be no shock to see them go on a run. They have won four of six overall, and are fresh off a 118-109 triumph over the Chicago Bulls the last time they stepped out on the floor.

Veteran and face of the franchise Giannis Antetokoumnpo has netted a solid 29.5 points per game and this season he has a tremendous partner in crime in Damian Lillard who adds 22.8 points per game and also brings in some much needed veteran shooting depth for the Bucks, who have not really had a complementary player like this to pair up with Antetokounmpo.

Milwaukee connects on 47% from the floor, including 36% from beyond the arc and they should be able to take advantage of the Raptor's poor perimeter defense. The guards will look to break down Toronto's defense, penetrate and then kick it back out to the likes of Malik Beasley, who has stepped up and shown he can consistently knock down three-point shots.

Toronto Raptors Betting Preview

The Raptors (5-5) just saw their brief two-game winning streak when they dropped a 117-94 loss to the Boston Celtics. But, they rebounded nicely and picked up a 111-107 win over the Washington Wizards the last time they stepped out on the court.

They have shown signs of life, as they have won three out of their last four overall and a win over the Bucks pushes them over .500 on the season. On offense, they are led by Scottie Barnes, who has netted 20 points per game, while veteran power forward Pascal Siakam adds 19 a clip, but has netted 26 a game against the Bucks in his career.

The Raptors are a decent shooting team from the floor as they average around 55% from the floor, including 33% from downtown.

They will look to knock down their open shots and they must contain Lillard early on. If they can also get Antetokounmpo in early foul trouble that is a major plus. The last three games he has been hit with some early fouls and at times gets frustrated.

Game Odds, Series Trends, and Free Picks

The Raptors are 3-2 in their last five games and 2-3 in their last five games against the number. They are also 3-2 in their road games against the spread. The totals have gone over in two of their last five games and the totals have also gone over in two of their last five games at home. The Bucks are 3-2 in their last five games but they are a horrible 0-5 in their last five games against the spread. They are also 0-4 in their road games against the number.
