The Atlanta Falcons will travel to Chicago, Illinois to face the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field with kick-off scheduled for 1:00 PM ET on Sunday afternoon in week 17 of the NFL season and will air on CBS.

 

Atlanta ended their two-game losing streak following a 29-10 win at home against the Indianapolis Colts in week 16 of the NFL season which also puts them in 2^nd place in the NFC South with the 29 points being the most points scored by the Falcons this season. Taylor Heinicke took over as the starting quarterback for the Falcons completing 23 of 33 attempts for 229 yards and a touchdown, however, the Falcons remain one of the lowest-scoring teams in the league as they enter this game averaging 18.43 points per game which ranks 26^th in the NFL. 

 

Defensively, the Falcons have one of the best scoring defenses in the league as they enter this matchup allowing the 9^th fewest points per game with an average of 19.86 points per game. The Atlanta Falcons will look to build off the momentum following the 29-10 win against the Colts when they travel to face the Chicago Bears.

 

The Chicago Bears have won three of their last four games including week 16’s 16-27 win at home against the Arizona Cardinals which has improved their record to 6-9 on the year, however, they aren’t going to make the playoffs as they are currently in 12^th place in the NFC. Chicago has been a below-average scoring team in the NFL as they enter this game averaging 20.5 points per game while also featuring one of the best rushing offenses in the NFL as they enter this game averaging 134.43 rushing yards per game which ranks 5^th in the league. 

 

Justin Fields has been one of the better players on offense for the Bears as he enters this game with 2,146 with 15 touchdowns and nine interceptions while rushing for 585 yards and three touchdowns. The Chicago Bears will look to build off the momentum following the win at home against the Cardinals when they host the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday afternoon in week 17 of the NFL season.
