Week 10 of the NFL season will wrap up on Monday night when the Denver Broncos travel to Orchard Park, New York to face the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium with the game scheduled to start at 8:15 PM ET and will air on ESPN and ABC.

The Denver Broncos have not lived up to their expectations this season following the hiring of Sean Payton as they enter this game with a record of 3-5 but are on a two-game winning streak following week 8’s 24-9 win at home against the Kansas City Chiefs while covering the 7-point spread as a home underdog by winning the game outright. The offense has underperformed this season with an average of 21.5 points per game which is below the league average of 21.5 points per game. Denver has shown some improvement on offense this season but is still below average while the defense has been the worst scoring defense in the league as they are allowing an average of 28.25 points per game and will have another tough test this week when they travel to face the Buffalo Bills. 

Buffalo has been inconsistent over their last three games after starting the season off a 3-1. The Bills have lost three of their last five games to drop their record of 5-4 on the season but are in 2^nd place in the AFC and trail the Miami Dolphins by .5 games as they defeated the Dolphins earlier this season by a score of 48-20. Josh Allen is still one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL as he has completed 231 of 324 attempts this season for 2,423 yards with 18 touchdowns and nine interceptions while rushing for 233 yards and six touchdowns and should lead the Bills to a bounce-back win following last week’s 18-24 loss on the road against the Cincinnati Bengals when they host the Denver Broncos on Monday night.

The teams are 5-5 in the last ten meetings while Buffalo has won the previous three matchups while going 9-1 ATS in the last ten and 7-0 in the last seven games in the series. The Denver Broncos are 2-5-1 ATS overall, 0-2-1 ATS on the road, and 1-2 ATS as an underdog this season while the Buffalo Bills are 3-6 ATS overall, 2-2 ATS at home, and 3-5 ATS as a favorite on the year.

Buffalo is the better team this season and has been the better team most recently in the series, winning the previous three meetings. The Bills have also been the better team at covering the spread in the series going 9-1 ATS in the last ten while covering the spread in the previous seven meetings against the Broncos. I look for the Bills to make it four wins in a row and eight straight games at covering the spread in the series which is what I am laying the points with the Bills when they host the Denver Broncos on Monday night in week 10 of the NFL season.
