Week 7 of the NFL season kicks off on Thursday night at 8:15 PM ET on Amazon Prime when the Jacksonville Jaguars travel to New Orleans, Louisiana to face the New Orleans Saints at the Caesars Superdome. 

The Jacksonville Jaguars enter this game with a record of 4-2 following a 37-20 win at home against the Indianapolis Colts while covering the 4-point spread as a home favorite in week 6 of the NFL season. Jacksonville scored 37 points while compiling a total of 233 yards offensively which included 181 passing yards and 85 rushing yards while allowing 20 points and 354 total yards defensively which included 329 passing yards and 44 rushing yards. Trevor Lawrence led the team in passing, completing 20 of 30 attempts for 181 yards with two touchdowns and an interception while adding 15 rushing yards. Travis Etienne led the team in rushing with 18 carries for 55 yards and two touchdowns while adding three receptions for 28 yards. Christian Kirk led the team in receiving, catching three of six targets for 49 yards and a touchdown.

New Orleans enters this game with a record of 3-3 following a 13-20 loss on the road against the Houston Texans while failing to cover the 2-point spread as a road favorite in week 6 of the NFL season. The Saints scored 13 points while compiling a total of 430 yards offensively which included 357 passing yards and 89 rushing yards while allowing 20 points and 297 total yards defensively which included 199 passing yards and 120 rushing yards. Derek Carr led the team in passing, completing 32 of 50 attempts for 353 yards with a touchdown and an interception while rushing for two yards. Alvin Kamara led the team in rushing with 19 carries for 68 yards while adding seven receptions for 36 yards. Chris Olave led the team in receiving, catching seven of ten targets for 96 yards.

I look for that trend to continue in this matchup which is why I am taking the Jacksonville Jaguars +3 when they travel to face the Saints on Thursday night.
