Two AFC West rivals will face each other on Monday afternoon in week 16 of the NFL season when the Las Vegas Raiders travel to Kansas City, Missouri to face the Kansas City Chiefs at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium with the game kicking off at 1:00 PM ET and will air on CBS and Nickelodeon.

 

The Las Vegas Raiders are coming off a dominating performance in week 15 as they defeated the Los Angeles Chargers by a score of 63-21 which also ended their three-game losing streak and improved their record to 6-8, however, barring a miracle the Las Vegas Raiders will miss the playoffs for the 2^nd season in a row. 

 

The Raiders have struggled offensively this season as they are averaging the 9^th fewest points per game with an average of 18.93 points per game while also having the worst rushing offense in the league one season after Josh Jacobs won the NFL rushing title he enters this game leading the team with 805 rushing yards and six touchdowns while adding 37 receptions for 296 yards.

The Chiefs remain an above-average team offensively, however, they aren’t as high-powered this season as they have been in the past few seasons as they are averaging 22.79 points per game which is tied with the Jacksonville Jaguars for 10^th in the NFL while averaging 358.86 total yards per game which ranks 7^th in the league. 

 

The defense for the Chiefs has been the biggest surprise as they enter this game allowing the 3^rd fewest points per game in the NFL with an average of 17.5 points per game. The Kansas City Chiefs will look to maintain the two-game lead over the Denver Broncos when they host the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday afternoon in week 16 of the NFL season.
