NFL Betting Preview: Las Vegas Raiders vs. Miami Dolphins

November 19, 2023

The Las Vegas Raiders will travel to Miami Gardens, Florida to face the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium with the game kicking off at 1:00 PM ET and will air regionally on CBS on Sunday afternoon in week 11 of the NFL season.

The Las Vegas Raiders have shown life over their last two games after Antonio Pierce took over as the interim head coach following the firing of Josh McDaniels. The Raiders enter the game on a two-game winning streak following a 16-12 win at home against the New York Jets and the defense has been one of the main reasons for their two-game winning streak as they have allowed an average of 9 points per game during the winning streak. Following last week’s win the Raiders are .500 on the year with a record of 5-5 which puts them in 2nd place in the AFC West, however, they are still 1.5 games back for the final Wild Card spot in the AFC and trail the Kansas City Chiefs by 2.5 games for 1st place in the division. The two wins also came against two below-average teams including the New York Giants who have one of the worst records in the NFL and are down to their 3rd string quarterback. Things will be a lot tougher this week when the Raiders travel to face one of the better teams in the AFC, the Miami Dolphins.

Miami has lost two of their last three games including a week 9 loss in London against the Kansas City Chiefs by a score of 14-21, however, they still have one of the most explosive offenses in the league as they enter this game averaging the most points in the NFL with an average of 31.67 points per game and feature an explosive passing game that is averaging the most passing yards per game with an average of 287.44 points per game and have the leading receiver in the NFL, Tyreek Hill, who has 1,076 yards and eight touchdowns and leads the NFL in receiving yards and has a 71-yard lead over A.J. Brown, who has the 2nd most receiving yards. The Dolphins will have an easier test this week following their bye week when they host the Las Vegas Raiders in week 11 of the NFL season.

BookMaker has the Miami Dolphins listed as 13-point favorites at home against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday afternoon in week 11 of the NFL season.
