Two NFC West rivals will square off on the gridiron on Sunday when the Los Angeles Rams travel to take on the Seattle Seahawks. The Los Angeles Rams went from Super Bowl Champion to a bottom-tier team while the Seattle Seahawks were one of the most surprising playoff teams last season. 

What will the season entail for both of these teams this season? Let’s take a closer look at how Vegas projects these teams to perform this season.

The Los Angeles Rams finished the 2023 NFL Preseason with a record of 0-3 with losses at home against the Los Angeles Chargers by a score of 17-34 and at home against the Las Vegas Raiders by a score of 17-34 while losing on the road against the Denver Broncos by a score of 0-41. 

The Rams finished the 2022 NFL season with a record of 5-12 which led to a 3^rd place finish in the NFC West and the Rams missing the playoffs for the first time since the 2019 NFL season. Seattle finished the preseason with a record of 2-1 with wins at home against the Minnesota Vikings by a score of 24-13 and the Dallas Cowboys by a score of 22-14 while losing on the road against the Green Bay Packers by a score of 15-19. The Seahawks were one of the surprise teams last season as Seattle finished with a record of 9-8 which led to a 2^nd place finish in the NFC West and the Seahawks making the playoffs after missing the playoffs in 2021. 

The Seahawks lost in the Wild Card round on the road against the San Francisco 49ers by a score of 23-41. This season, the Seattle Seahawks enter the year with an over/under win total of 9 wins and based on Vegas odds are projected to be the 2^nd best team in the NFC West projected to finish behind the San Francisco 49ers.
