The Miami Hurricanes will travel to Chapel Hill, North Carolina to face the 10^th-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels at the Dean E. Smith Center with the game scheduled to start at 7:00 PM ET on Monday evening and will air on ESPN.

The Miami Hurricanes are in 12^th place in the ACC with a conference record of 6-11 and an overall record of 15-13 while having lost their last six games in a row including a 76-80 loss at home against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Saturday.

The Miami Hurricanes will look to end their six-game losing streak when they travel to face the 10^th-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels.

The North Carolina Tar Heels enter this game ranked 10^th in the AP Poll and 9^th in the Coaches Poll with an overall record of 21-6 and are now in sole possession of 1^st place in the ACC following Saturday’s win against the Virginia Cavaliers on the road and Duke’s loss to the Wake Forest Demon Deacons which also extended their winning streak to two games and improved their conference record to 13-3. 

The success of the Tar Heels this season can be attributed to their offensive play as they rank 20^th nationally in scoring with an average of 82.85 points per game. Defensively, North Carolina has been a middle-of-the-pack team as they are allowing an average of 71.42 points per game which ranks 166^th in college basketball this season. 

Armando Bacot has played a pivotal role in the success the Tar Heels have had this season and enters this game averaging a double-double with 14.4 points and 10.4 rebounds while also leading the team in blocks with an average of 1.7 blocks per game. The North Carolina Tar Heels will look to extend their winning streak to three games when they host the Miami Hurricanes on Monday evening.
