The 2023 Personal Ensign Stakes offers plenty of exciting names that will compete for victory on a historic track. The top female horses will be on display, offering great betting opportunities.

All six of the racers competing in this event are coming off of five different events. Two horses that competed in the same race recently were Nest and Clairiere, who went 1-2 respectively in their finishes.

This event used to be part of the Breeder’s Cup Challenge Series. Instead, it is a good preparation for the Longines Breeders' Cup Distaff.

With all of these names on the board, they all have recent experience with a victory and placing second before or after their victories. This will likely be the most compelling event of the night, as the competition will be fierce.

Idiomatic 3/1

Idiomatic has strung together five wins out of six starts. This will be her debut in grade 1, but has done well against other graded competition with two consecutive victories heading into this one.

Clairiere 5/2

Clairiere has landed four grade 1 victories in the past. She has also had close encounters in races against Nest and Secret Oath this year, making her an appealing bet. However, she has only one win out of seven when racing at this distance.

Secret Oath 8/1

If Secret Oath can return to her previous form where she has landed a couple of second place finishes on grade 1’s, then she has a great shot to win. She has had plenty of rest since her June 10^th Ogden Phipps Stakes, so she could be worth a wager.
